Development of Rapid Impact Compaction in China
China's first rapid impact compactor has been tested by the Testing Center of the Ministry of Transport of China, and combined with China's Gansu, Anhui, Guangdong and other cities to carry out experimental research on the application effect of rapid impact compaction on expressways. The project "Research on Hydraulic Compactor and Its Application" passed the technical appraisal organized by the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, and the conclusion was the first in China and reached the international advanced level.
The first-generation rapid impact compactor was verified by the multi-segment test organized and implemented by researcher Yang Shiji, and tested by the Xi'an Road Construction Machinery Testing Center of the Ministry of Communications. In January 2004, it passed the ministerial and provincial appraisal in Beijing. In that year, it was fully promoted and applied in the Meihe Expressway in Guangdong. The third generation of rapid impact compaction equipment has improved on the basis of the second generation, in terms of ramming strength (impact depth), productivity and reliability during continuous work, ease of operation and transition safety, manufacturing. Major breakthroughs have been made in technology and other aspects.
The strength of the third-generation rapid impact compaction machine is improved, the impact depth of roadbed reinforcement is more than 4 meters, and the actual measurement of a road is 4.5 meters; in addition, the tamping frequency is increased to more than 30 blows per minute, and the productivity is greatly improved; due to The liquid flow resistance is small, and there is no overheating phenomenon when working continuously for a long time. As long as the supporting loader has no defects, it can work continuously for 24 hours.
